Although saved at the age of seven, I didn't fully surrender my life to my Lord until 1998, when a series of medical and business calamaties made me realize that I didn't have to try to do things on my own in this life. I was reminded that while I might have forgotten God, God certainly had not forgotten me. Since that time, I have felt a real burning desire to tell others about the wonderful love that the Savior has shown to me. I now find that after almost 40 years of doing virtually nothing for my Lord, now I can't do enough for Him. To borrow the words from a song; "if He was willing to die for me, I'm willing to live for Him." While I get a kick out of rattling your seats at a concert, I realize that music is just another tool the Lord uses in leading others into the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:14.."and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?" If you come to a Calvary's Hill Quartet concert, you will definitely hear about our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised in a Christian home. My mother and father did a great job keeping my brohters and me in church. If the doors were unlocked, we were there! At the age of seven, I realized that it takes more than going to church and more than just being a good person to go to Heaven. I realized that I needed to know Jesus. I realized that I needed a personal relationship with Him. I asked Jesus with a childlike prayer to save me...AND HE DID!!! Just like that with no questions asked. Since that time I've always felt a yearning to sing. Every chance I got I sang in church. I sang at revivals, homecomings, weddings, funerals, you name it, I've sung it. I have always been involved with leading music at churches whereever there was a need. Still I did not have a peace. I tried my own ministry and God didn't allow it to grow. Now that I am with Calvary's Hill Quartet, I have that peace. After 33 years, Prasise the Lord, I am at peace! Things are not always easy, but I know that I am finally in the center of God's will. I hope that Jesus touches your heart through our music. Remember a simple childlike prayer can save you too. Romans 10:13

I was raised in a Christian home, my father was a preacher and my mother was a praying woman. I sung with my family as I grew up and eventually I went out on my own. At the age of 17 I became a professional wrestler and traveled all over the United States. I got married in 1985 and then the Lord found me on Dec 23rd, 1986. I went to a gospel singing that New Year's eve and heard Brian Free with Gold City. I knew then what the Lord wanted me to do and I've been singing ever since. Thank You ,Lord, for keeping me safe and giving me a chance to come to know You. Thank you also to my Mom and Dad up in Heaven for my Christian upbringing.

I was raised in a devoted Christian home. If the doors of the church were open, it seemed we were there. I have always been involved with the church from youth leader to Sunday night superintendent, but my passion has always been Southern Gospel music. My family has always had some type of singing going on. My grandfather and grandmother were part of the Original McPherson Quartet that is still carried on by their children today. My family was also involved with the Eastern Gate Quartet that was formed in the 70's and was very well known. I have been saved close to 20 years, and I have my trials just like everyone else, but God has brought me back and kept me safe each and every time that I wander. Being with CHQ has been such a blessing for me and filled a void that I had for so long. I am so thankful for each and everyone of the guys that are in the group and for what they stand for. My prayer is that everyone that comes to hear us will not only listen to how we sing, but to the words and message that each song gives--that the Lord Jesus Christ love and died for all!!! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be singing His praises at the time of the rapture, to take one step here and the next step on the streets of Glory!! Thank you to my family and especially to my wife, Amy, for her patience and devotion thru it all.
